Description

This is for two horseradish roots cuttings about 6-8 inches long. Horseradish can be invasive and as such take care to plant it in a container or even in a raised bed to keep it contained. If you purchase the roots now you can plant right away and cover the entire root with dirt in colder Zones. Plants will over winter and sprout in the spring. Harvest after the first frost and save some root to replant again the next year! This is fresh horseradish root cuttings they will be firm and ready for planting. If you choose to store and wait to plant it may develop mold spots which you simply wash off as it will not effect the root prior to planting. The root with sprout end to end when planted it is not fussy and generally is very low maintenance. The two roots you receive will be freshly dug from our farm.
